Filter Importance - HVAC Filtration Systems
If your HVAC system doesn't have a filter, or the filter is always clogged, then your system works less efficiently and has a greater chance of failure. Dirty filters restrict air flow in your system, a key aspect in the efficiency of your heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system.
Filters should be checked every 30 days for excessive build up of particles. If the filter contains more build up or less, than adjust the schedule accordingly. A few modern thermostats are equipped with a reminder to change your filter. Set a schedule for regular filter changes to keep your air fresh and clean.
